Added Registration times: 4/10 (6:00-8:00pm) and 4/13 (10:00-12:00pm)
All registrations will be held at our softball office: 1701 W Madison St. Sioux Falls, SD
What to Bring: COPY of your child’s birth certificate and payment (if you are wanting a scholarship, you will also need a proof of free and reduced lunch or medicaid card)
For Payment: We ONLY accept CASH OR CHECK (NO credit cards, or any online payment)
DEADLINE HAS PASSED, any additional players registering will have an additional $10 fee
SAFESPORT & BACKGROUND CHECKS 2024
*This is REQUIRED by the league but it stems from the SOFTBALL NATIONAL OFFICE that all coaches on the field have to be SAFESPORT certified. In previous years you needed ACE but that is not a requirement for this year. You will have to have it on the field with you at all times (this can be the certificate itself, or screenshots on your phone). At anytime during league or tournaments an official (board member, tournament director, or umpire) can ask to see it, if you do not have proof of it, you CANNOT be on the field. You CANNOT BE ON THE FIELD unless you have this completed. Starting THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON, we will be asking ALL COACHES at random times to show their proof. Again, this is a NATIONAL and FEDERAL LAW that requires any adult working with children to be SAFESPORT certified.

It is with heavy hearts that we must share the news of the passing of our board member Amy Williams. Those who knew her knew that she always had a smile on her face, sunglasses, and crocs. She dedicated her life to working in the school district, wife, mother, and a grandmother, but to us, she was apart of the YSSA family. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten. Please take the time to hug your love ones extra tight tonight as we are never promised tomorrow.

Thank you for all that you have done for the YSSA, you were a friend and became apart of my family. You always had a smile on your face, your blue nails, light blue crocs, and of course your raccoon eyes from your sun glasses. Amy you truly meant the world not only to me but to everybody that came into contact with you, so thank you. You will forever be in my heart.

We have started a go fund me account, anything will help, and we do ask that if you have a memory of Amy, please share. The YSSA family will never be the same, we will miss you forever and always. We love you Amy, RIP.
First Annual Amy Williams Invitational Tournament 2022
*On behalf of the YSSA and Amy’s family, we would like to thank every single person who came out to support the players, coaches, and help keep Amy’s memory alive. Losing Amy was unexpected, but she is smiling from above knowing that youth around Sioux Falls, Watertown, Huron, and South Dakota are enjoying the very sport she was passionate about… softball. Thank you all again and we will see you for the Second Amy Williams Invitational in 2023!
